A Nigerian businessman has said that he will give Ekiti chef, Damilola Adeparusi, simply called Chef Dammy, N1m if she calls off her ongoing cooking marathon.
Chef Dammy started her cook-a-thon on Friday, June 9 with the aim of cooking for 120 hours.

The chef, who has now cooked for over 88 hours, has been receiving backlash for not waiting for Guinness World Records to certify Hilda Effiong Bassey a.k.a Hilda Baci, who previously broke the record for the longest cooking hours with 100 hours of cooking.

In a viral video, the businessman promised to give Chef Dammy a whopping N1m if she would stop cooking.
He said he has no problem with Chef Dammy’s decision to cook for 120 hours, but he believes it is too early since Hilda Baci has just finished hers.
