The Hotel Costes in Paris. Like the rooms there, the scent here is incredibly dark, rich, and sexy with a mix of precious woods, powders and a lace of rum.
And the Hotel Unique in Sao Paul, Brazil. Its vanilla, leather, and cardamom mix is right in the middle between masculine and feminine, evoking the pool deck, with its stunning view overlooking the famous Ibirapuera Park.
The scents are totally different, but the effect is the same: Thanks to the strong connection between smell and memory, when I sniff them, I am instantly transported back. It's such a lovely way to bring a little relaxation home.
