Ubisoft's Project Q Gameplay Leaked, A Small-Scale Battle Arena

Following yesterday’s leak around a Battle Arena game from Ubisoft, now a gameplay video has leaked from the playtest of Project Q, which showcases the overall concept of the game.

Yesterday, a leak from Tom Henderson appeared on the internet, indicating the existence of a new multiplayer project at Ubisoft called Project Q.

As we reported earlier in a separate article, the game sounded like a battle arena similar to Ninja Theory’s Bleeding Edge, and today’s leaked gameplay confirms it to a large degree.

Project Q Is a Battle Arena With Fortnite-ish Visuals

The leaked footage from Project Q was first shared on YouTube, but it didn’t take Ubisoft so long to request the removal of the video. However, fans managed to upload it on the third-party platform. You can find the link to this footage in the comment of this Reddit post.

Based on the gameplay footage, Project Q looks like a Knockout City-style third-person action game with a focus on ranged and melee weapons. While there are multiple heroes available in the game, players can choose weapons regardless of their character.

The game’s world looks fun and colorful, much similar to Knockout City, but the art style of the game and its visuals could remind you of Fortnite.

Overall, the game doesn’t look to be something very unique that you have not experienced so far, but as mentioned before, this is very early footage of the game, and the final product could be completely different.

It’s yet to be seen whether Project Q would be a free-to-play game or a paid product, but regarding its current scale, it doesn’t seem to be a huge project from Ubisoft.

Ubisoft has not officially confirmed anything about Project Q so far, but with all these leaks, the French publisher might announce the project in the near future.
