Erling Haaland scored five goals in Manchester City’s 7-0 demolition of RB Leipzig in a UEFA Champions League round of 16 second-leg match at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.
The German side’s nightmare began in the 21st minute after Benjamin Henrichs handled the ball in his box. The referee awarded a penalty, and Haaland made no mistake in putting the Cityzens ahead.

Haaland was on hand to double the Premier League giants’ lead in the 24th minute. The big Norwegian headed home after Kevin De Bruyne struck the bar with a shot.
Leipzig could have halved the deficit in the 35th minute, but Timo Werner’s miskick in front of a gaping goal meant the Germans remained two goals down.
Haaland punished them in the second time of added time after slotting in Ruben Dias’ header, which hit the post from Jack Grealish’s corner.

Manchester City could not stop scoring as Ilkay Gundogan scored Pep Guardiola’s men’s fourth of the night in the 49th minute.
Haaland grabbed another goal four minutes later before scoring his last for the night in the 57th minute.
He is now the youngest and fastest player to score 30 plus goals in Champions League history.
De Bruyne completed Leipzig’s humiliation in the second minute of second-half added time.
Manchester City go through to the quarter final with an 8-1 aggregate score.
FC Porto vs Inter
Inter went through on a 1-0 aggregate win over Porto.
The first leg had ended 1-0 in Inter’s favour and was enough to guarantee the Serie A side’s progress.
