Fall 2011 runway looks from left to right: Jason Wu, Farah Angsana, Jason Wu

Anyhow, Tyra made the lacy headgear look so good--as did other guests, like Karolina Kurkova and Natalia Vodianova--that designers seemed to have gotten it into their head that us mere mortals could make cob-webby lace over our eyes look as gorgeous and natural as she did. (FYI, 'tis not so, Jason Wu and Farah Angsana.) I have a hard time believing I could pull it off--let alone see through it--in real life but I must confess, I'm totally taken with the look on the runway. It's just all kinds of dreamy.

Do you agree? Would you try to rock a lace face mask at a big fancy party. Know any fashion risk taker who would set aside their Blair Waldorf headband for a night and give this look a spin?
