Watch: Aaron Rodgers FURIOUS over Christian Watson for missing a clear TD pass in the Packers-Rams game

Aaron Rodgers has not been at his usual best this season as the 39-year-old QB has continually struggled throughout the entire regular season. The Packers have also been abysmal this year and the reigning Super Bowl MVP could do nothing about it.

The lack of chemistry between the players is a huge reason why the season hasn’t worked out for Rodgers and the Packers. This was pretty evident in the MNF game against the defending champions Rams.

Although the Packers were victorious over the Rams, the aforementioned chemistry issues were pretty relevant and the fourth-quarter mishap between Rodgers and WR Christian Watson was witness to that.

With less than two minutes remaining on the clock, the Packers were leading with a score of 24-12 which almost guaranteed their victory. However, A-Rod was looking for another touchdown on 3rd and 2 near the goal line. The Packers QB quickly snapped the ball towards Watson however, the WR wasn’t aware of the play and the pass was deemed incomplete.

Rodgers was clearly furious at the rookie WR and gave him a stern warning in his post-game interview with ESPN. “You wanna score touchdowns, you run the right routes.”

Aaron Rodgers is quite positive regarding the playoffs chances of the Packers. The Green Bay team still has a slim chance of making the playoffs. However, they will have to win their remaining games against the Dolphins, the Vikings, and the Lions.

All three of the above-mentioned team have a record better than the Packers and will be tough to compete with. A-Rod is prepared for the challenge and even pointed out that two games out of the three will be played in Lambeau Field, where the Packers will have a home advantage in cold weather.

Rodgers was quite happy after the win. Though he gave a stern warning to WR Christian Watson and any other players who were slacking off, they will have to be at their best if they hope to make the playoffs.

The Packers will need the support of their fans after a disappointing season if they hope to make the playoffs and make a deep run in the NFL. There are also rumors of Aaron Rodgers retiring at the end of the season. This makes it even more important for the Packers to chase victory.
