WATCH: “Salty much?” – Tom Brady COLDLY responds to a question about Joe Burrow and abruptly walks out of the press conference

Things don’t seem to be falling in place for Tom Brady this season as he is handed yet another loss. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite leading 17-0 at one point, lost the game 23-34 to the Cincinnati Bengals and have now gone down 6-8 for the season. This is the first time that Brady has lost 8 games in the regular season.

Before this game, the Brady-led teams were 159-3 overall, and 89-0 at home, when they led by 17 points at any moment in the game but to his dismay, he has now lost one game despite having such an inspired start. While the offense clicked well in the first half, they just couldn’t get the ball moving in the second half.

The Bucs’ defense, which is supposed to be very reliable, didn’t deliver as expected in the second half. They looked very sloppy and let the Bengals’ offense dominate them. The Bengals scored 31 points in the second half and comfortably won the game 34-23. Brady was obviously very disappointed with himself and the team’s performance, and that was reflected in his energy at the post-game press conference.

The last question asked to him was about Joe Burrow and the young QB’s performance, to which Brady gave a very cold reply. He just said that Burrow is a really good QB and stormed out of the press conference abruptly. “He’s a really good quarterback. Thanks, guys,” Brady said before leaving the room.

Brady’s cold response to Burrow’s question wasn’t taken well by the fans. Burrow has always shown utmost respect to Brady and despite the result, it is not good on Brady’s part to behave like he did- given the stature he has. Fans expressed their disappointment on social media and termed Brady ‘salty’ and a ‘bad loser’.

Seriously, at this point in your career, as incredible as it’s been, no need to be douchey about another younger quarterback having a great career.

It’s very disappointing, because as the OG GOAT, I, as a regular football fan would expect him to understand the weight his career has carried to these younger QBs, and be humble and kind. His frustration with his team, should not become a character flaw, and it seems it has.

Hahahah bro was salty he had to answer that

For a guy who is a winner, he sure is a loser.

Salty as Hell…God that pained him to say that. 🧂

This man gave up his wife and kids to play a game at the age of 45, while leaving 350 million dollars on the table. I’d be salty too.

The Bucs are 6-8 for the season but still are at the top of the NFC South division. They have a 1 game edge over the other teams from their division and are the favorites to qualify for the playoffs. In the coming weeks, they have a few easy outings and will face the likes of the Arizona Cardinals, the Carolina Panthers, and the Atlanta Falcons.
