“What a sexist!” – Ex-Cowboys WR Dez Bryant gets SLAMMED for his ‘misogynistic’ tweet claiming he doesn’t like talking football with certain women

When it comes to naming a vocal retired football player, Dez Bryant will be in the top three on most people’s lists. The former star-wide receiver, besides hosting his podcast, stays active on several social media platforms, especially X (formerly Twitter).

He is facing the wrath of the internet world for taking a shot at the alleged deteriorating relationship between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. The dynamic duo of the Buffalo Bills reportedly had a fallout last season, and news leaked out that they don’t see eye to eye.

Before the Bills took on the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night, Bryant tweeted in favor of Diggs, claiming he is the best player Buffalo has and not Allen. And if the Bills lose in SoFi, then the media should put the 27-year-old quarterback on a pedestal.

If the bills lose to the chargers

Every day sports topic better have Josh Allen in it

We view Josh Allen as 1 of the elite QBs in todays game

Diggs is clearly the best player on the field right now and he ain’t getting no love

Nobody can tell me it ain’t tension between…

Shortly after, he shared a tweet addressed to him by a handle named ‘Laura.’ She claimed that there was no drama between the two Bills players. And she told Bryant,

Don't go make up drama just because your team lost.

😂🙄 Chill, dude! Don't go making up drama just because your team lost. Josh Allen is still a stud, and Diggs is killing it on the field. No need for all the unnecessary panic, okay?

By ‘his team’ she implied the Dallas Cowboys, who lost to the Bills 31-10 just six days ago. In reply, the former Cowboys playmaker wrote,

I personally don’t like talking football with Certain! women because they don’t know their role in talking; a man’s a game, and I’ll never tell you how to put on a skirt.

Making up drama?

I said something gotta be up

And

Yea ok

Btw

I personally don’t like talking football with Certain! women because they don’t know their role in talking a man’s a game

I’ll never tell you how to put on a skirt

It more or less opened the floodgates. Since the tweet was up, it has been shared several times, calling Dez Bryant misogynist and sexist. This is not the first time he has been critical of women. Back in 2015, he called a female Twitter user ‘fat.’ Then there’s the Jemele Hill incident, which almost became ugly.

Bryant’s recent argument appeared to be heading in that direction as well.

I know more about this sport than a lot of men that I know. It’s not about gender, that doesn’t matter.

What you say matters though. Woman have a place at the table and if men like Dez won’t make room then we will take the damn table for ourselves.

Oh gross. There are ways to disagree without offending an entire sex. I don’t need any man telling me how i can talk about a “man’s game”. Go ahead and put that skirt on though buddy. 🙄 No one’s judging you if that’s what you’re into…

Even infamous YouTuber @Tom Grossi, who makes content on NFL games, chimed in with his take.

Should’ve ended this tweet with “Yea ok” tbh

Dez I liked you when I watched the cowboys with my ex. But this is NOT the right look. Women like this game and know this game as much as men do and you can say “certain!” Women as a scapegoat; but tell it how you mean it. Smh, this is low.

Diggs hasn’t had the season as many Bills fans would have hoped. He hadn’t touched 100 yards in a game since the New York Giants match early in the season and hasn’t scored a touchdown in the last two. The Bills won the Chargers game, but Diggs once again had a disappointing outing. Allen only connected with him on five occasions from eight targets, resulting in just 29 yards.

#Bills WR Stefon Diggs has been SHUT DOWN in his last 6 games:

LAC: 5 catches, 29 yards
DAL: 4 catches, 48 yards
KC: 4 catches, 24 yards
PHL: 6 catches, 74 yards
NYJ: 4 catches, 27 yards
DEN: 3 catches, 34 yards

😳😳😳

Moreover, anyone who has been watching the NFL for more than two decades would have seen Bryant making his darting runs through the field to score touchdowns. And it’s impossible to forget his X celebration, which became as iconic as the #88 jersey number.

Nowadays, Bryant gets into a verbal war with several notable individuals. Not so long ago, he engaged in a Twitter war with Stephen A. Smith for calling out his colleague Malika Andrews. He even wanted to have a boxing match with the coveted sports presenter.

Bryant later shared a tweet saying that he would address the “misogynistic” part of his podcast. It will be interesting to see how he covers his tracks this time.
