INDIANAPOLIS — Clouds are clearing Sunday evening and a perfect time for the beginning of a rare opportunity to see a comet without a telescope or binoculars.
The recently found, March 27th, Comet NEOWISE will be visible in the evening and near-dawn for a couple of weeks.
Beginning tonight, look low in the northwestern horizon around an hour after sunset locally. For central Indiana, that will be around 10:15 p.m.
Morning viewings will be in the northeastern sky around 4 a.m. Good luck!
