ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Lifetime's original series 'Prison Brides' will premiere on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 9.30 PT. Seven women believe they have found their soulmates in the most unexpected place which is the American prison.  

Produced by the British Production company Big Little Fish. Jack Tarantino serves as showrunner with executive producers being Mark Procter, Peter Usher, Brie Miranda Byrant, Jonathon Partridge, and Nicole Vogel, viewers have already shown their ample interest in the show.

This explosive docu-series will follow seven women who have given their hearts to America's prisoners. They started as pen pals but it wasn't for much longer that the women had fallen in love with the notorious criminals.

The series will follow the women as they cross several hurdles including geographical and social boundaries to finally reunite with with their prisoner fiance, husbands, or even partners. Will try love prevail or will they give up?

The major plot behind Lifetime's new docuseries 'Prison Brides' is exploring the lives of seven women who fell in love with American prisoners. These seven women from different parts of the world will be traveling to U.S. (many for the first time) to get a glimpse of their lover who is in jail.

With parents being unassured of their daughter's plans and friends and relatives asking to rethink the situation, the journey will not be easy. Along with this the visa issue and cultural differences might also shock the women.

They will finally get to meet the love of their lives (most of them serving a sentence of ten years or more) in the American jails. They will find out whether they are compatible or not before making the important decision to get married to them.

In the trailer, Erin's friend said, "She's moving away from everyone and everything that she's ever known for someone that she's met once, that is in prison."

It would be interesting to see how Erin would finally reconcile with Micahel and how would they sort their life together.

Lifetime is approaching its 40th anniversary and what could be better than launching several unscripted series? 'Prison Brides' is one of the many reality series set to release on Lifetime. 

Since the trailer dropped on YouTube, the internet is going ga-ga over it.

A user passed a comment stating their life struggles and how it is associated with the show,

One said, "I'm in full support of the women on this show everyone's story is different. No judgment at all ... I didn't marry my boyfriend while he is currently it's been 5 years locked up but have been by his side since the day our children and I are waiting for his release date."
