The movie is firmly set in the town of Loganville, Maryland. Here, Rebel Wilson’s character Steph calls Deanna’s house “the most beautiful house in Maryland”.

As it turns out, there is no actual town named Loganville in Maryland, so we still have the question: where was “Senior Year” filmed?

More often than not, they don’t film movies and television shows in the actual place. Movie and TV show creators film productions in cities and states that are film hubs. “Senior Year” is no exception to this, and according to IMDB, the film was shot in and around Atlanta, Georgia.

The city is also known as the “Hollywood of the South” because of how many film and television productions are done there.

In the movie, Steph faces the difficulties and hijinks of missing 20 years and returning to high school. Watching the characters go through the halls of the beautiful school from the movie is sure to make you ask the question: where was “Senior Year” filmed?

According to The Cinemaholic, Harding High School is actually a private school in Atlanta called the Westminsters School, located on West Paces Ferry Road Northwest.

In actuality, the private school isn’t a high school like it is presented to be in the movie. Instead, the school is for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The school’s website boasts that it was founded back in 1951 and has around 1,800 students in attendance.

Another location mentioned by The Cinemaholic is the nearby Grant Park which is featured in several scenes in the movie. The park was founded in 1883, making it the oldest city park in Atlanta!

One of the other things on display in “Senior Year” is the homes of Loganville, Maryland. We see quite a variety of them, and many are sure to spark the question: where was “Senior Year” filmed?

The first one we’ll visit is the home of Steph and her father, played by Chris Parnell. The small one-story bungalow is located in the Grant Park neighborhood, according to Dirt. The quaint, green home is a showcase of the historic Atlanta neighborhood.

Apparently, the yellow signs that hang from Steph’s house and others in the movie are meant to signify cohesion in the neighborhood. Please keep in mind that this is a private residence, so you shouldn’t do much other than snap a couple of pictures while passing by if you decide to visit it yourself.

Next up is the large house that Steph pines after, owned by her nemesis Tiffany and high-school boyfriend Blaine. Dirt says that this is another private residence at 2611 Dellwood Drive in Atlanta. The large property spans over half an acre. Coming in at a little over 6,000 square feet and with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, it’s no wonder that Steph called this her dream house!
